This was our second stay at this cabin and we plan to keep coming back. The kid loved playing pool in the garage and the sounds of the waves while we sat around the campfire were so relaxing. It's a short drive to Superior or Duluth, but there's plenty to do right at the house.

David was an excellent host and very quick to respond to any inquiries. The property was exactly what you would expect based on the pictures, which is to say that it was great! We loved the privacy and being right on Lake Superior. We had one warm and sunny day and one gloomy and stormy day. We almost enjoyed the stormy day more because the glass room made it really fun!

Very nice and cozy place. The view was amazing! Owners took great care of the place and made sure there were everything there for the renters during their stay. Highly reccommend this place to others that want a peacful and relaxing stay with great service.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home perfect for our needs. The sun room and large hot tub were wonderful bonuses and greatly appreciated. Beautiful grounds and stairs to access Lake Superior. Dave was kind and responsive, and I would love to stay here again if we are back in the area.

Three generations from as far away as Hawaii re-convened at David’s fantastic lake shore property for a 4-day weekend post Labor Day. An easy drive from Superior, WI, we passed more deer than vehicles over the final two miles. Far from desolate, the property is exceptionally private and serene. The cool air enhanced the nightly chats around the fire pit with amazing sunset views of the lake with the hills of Duluth, MN in the distance. At least three new agate collectors emerged from the frequent trips to & from the sandy shoreline where the hearty took a refreshing plunge. The ten of us spread out across the big game room garage space and the view-friendly sun room, family room, and hot tub. Yet, when coming together, we were always comfortable and not overcrowded. The same held true in hitting the pillows across the four bedrooms. David was super responsive to our questions - pertinent or trivial. He runs one of the Top 3 rental properties my family has experienced over 15 years.

We had an awesome stay at Kitchigami Lodge! So beautiful all around. The big yard for the kids to run around and play, and the variety of activies to do was great. We loved the firepit overlooking the lake, hot tub with seren lighting, the beds were comfy, the location, the views all of it! Such a nice spot!

Excellent location and very responsive host! The lake view was breathtaking. There was a nice rustic feel to the cabin, and very clean! The hot tub is also massive, although we preferred to venture down to the beach and stick out toes in the sand :) they had everything we needed for the beach, including chairs so comfy that my husband took a snooze. we stayed with our 2 kiddos and my mother and father in law. Like a true cabin feel, it is creaky and the walls aren’t very thick, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Pro tip: when you book this location, check out Amnicon Falls State Park which is just a 13 minute drive away. You won’t regret it!!

Eight girlfriends and I got together for our 50th birthdays at David’s place, and it was just perfect. Very clean, plenty of room, and so many different nooks and crannies where we could hang out and have fun. Having a private beach was really an amazing plus, we walked it every day, and we used the bonfire pit and hot tub a couple of times and they were great. Our favorite was the sunroom… It was beautiful! Added bonus was the arcade and rec room that was newly built in the garage. It felt like a whole other cabin When we went over there to hang out. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with our accommodations at Kitchegami Lodge.
